We deliver a wide range of services across regional and metropolitan WA, including family and domestic violence, alcohol and other drugs, mental health, and youth justice.
Through our youth justice programs, HOPE provides safe, supportive, and culturally appropriate environments for young people involved with the Youth Justice Service. We work collaboratively with young people to support positive decision-making, build life skills, and create pathways for a brighter future.
About the Role
As the Day Program Mentor, you'll work closely with the Coordinator to develop and deliver personalised, strengths-based daily activity plans for young people residing in HOPE's Youth Justice Services. - Building positive, trusting relationships through mentoring and daily engagement
- Facilitating recreational and life skills activities that promote healthy lifestyles
- Managing challenging behaviours in line with HOPE's model of care
- Contributing to house management, ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive living environment
- Accurately maintaining case notes, daily summaries, and incident reports in the Client Management System (CMS)
- Collaborating with Youth Justice Services, Aboriginal elders, families, and community stakeholders
What's on Offer
- Full-time, permanent position – 38 hours per week
- $88, superannuation + generous salary packaging benefits
- Supportive, values-driven team culture focused on collaboration and respect
- Ongoing training, development, and supervision opportunities
- The chance to make a real impact in the lives of young people and their communities
You'll Need

- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Administrative and computer literacy
- Current C or A class Driver's Licence, Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance (within 3 months), and First Aid Certificate

- Understanding of foetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) and willingness to undertake training
- Mental Health First Aid certification
- An interest in practical or recreational activities (e.g. craft, gardening, cooking, woodwork)
