General Manager Transformation

Bolton Clarke is seeking an experienced and future‑focused General Manager Transformation to lead the portfolio of strategic transformation initiatives that uplift operational performance and strengthen customer experience across the organisation. Reporting to the Chief Customer and Transformation Officer, this role is pivotal in shaping how Bolton Clarke designs, delivers and embeds change at scale.

About the opportunity:

As a senior leader within the Customer and Transformation division, you will oversee the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring best‑practice governance, disciplined execution, and measurable benefit realisation across our transformation agenda. You will work closely with executive leaders, operational teams and strategic partners to drive organisational effectiveness and support Bolton Clarke's continued growth, including the integration of acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of the transformation portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and priorities.
• Establish and embed best‑practice project, change and portfolio management frameworks.
• Manage interdependencies across initiatives to drive sustainable business and customer outcomes.
• Provide leadership, coaching and subject matter expertise to the PMO and transformation teams.
• Oversee portfolio governance, including reporting, risks, issues and benefits realisation.
• Engage and influence senior executives to ensure successful delivery of transformation initiatives.

About you:

You bring significant experience leading complex transformation, change and portfolio management within large, matrixed organisations — ideally in health, aged care, community services or a similarly regulated environment. You will also have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Management, Project Management, Change Management or a related discipline
• A proven track record delivering large‑scale transformation, customer experience improvements and/or organisational effectiveness initiatives
• Strong experience in portfolio management, business process redesign and benefits management
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence at executive and senior levels
• Outstanding communication, stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
• High‑level analytical and problem‑solving capability
• Experience leading teams, driving performance and enabling high‑quality project delivery
