About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Hair Stylist to join our team. This role is perfect for a passionate stylist who excels in delivering high-quality services, mentoring junior staff & apprentices, and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a full range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, treatments, and consultations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every client leaves with a look that suits their style and enhances their confidence.
  • Stay up to date with current trends, techniques, and products within the hairdressing industry.
  • Mentor, train, and support junior stylists and apprentices to help them develop their skills.
  • Maintain salon presentation, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Build and retain a loyal client base by providing consistent, high-quality service.
  • Contribute to team goals and actively participate in promotional events and activities.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Hair Stylist (experience in senior or leadership role preferred).
  • Proficiency in advanced cutting, colouring, and styling techniques.
  • Strong product knowledge and ability to recommend appropriate treatments.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and lead by example.
  • A Certificate III or IV in Hairdressing (or equivalent qualification).
