Role Description

This is a part-time role with flexibility for an Experienced Tax Accountant based in the Greater Melbourne Area. The Tax Accountant will manage tax compliance and preparation for individuals and small businesses, prepare financial statements, and ensure accuracy in accounting records. Additional responsibilities may include interpreting tax legislation, providing advisory services for clients, and collaborating with team members to deliver tailored financial solutions. This role requires excellent analytical and client service skills, in addition to a commitment to maintaining the high-quality standards of Miller Goldie & Associates.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and understanding of general Tax regulations
  • Expertise in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements
  • Demonstrated skills in Accounting principles and practices
  • Ability to interpret and apply tax legislation effectively
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client accounts
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/CA certification preferred
  • Prior experience in taxation, accounting, or financial reporting is required
