We spend a third of our lives sleeping, so we thought we'd make it memorable. Sheet Society was dreamed up by Hayley and Andy Worley in 2017 after they thought the industry had hit snooze. Then once their kids arrived, they had a new understanding of what makes for a great night's sleep. 

We've got big plans in 2025 and are so excited to have launched our second interstate store in Burnside. We are looking for Casual Retail Sales  Assistants to join our Retail Team for our Christmas period.

About You:

You'll be the face and voice of the brand and provide an exceptional experience both to new and existing customers. We're looking for someone who exudes positive energy and is genuinely passionate about providing a world-class experience. 

You must be available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with flexibility to work other days including public holidays as required. You will be available for our whole peak trading period (mid-October to December). 

About the Role:

We prioritise connection with our customers and you will too, you will be a style advisor who can be adaptable, a pro at working with customers to create their perfect bed and show creativity, confidence, and have exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience, Selling and Selling Performance:

• Selling Sheet Society through engagement and genuine connections with customers, being always a brand ambassador
• Educating our customers about our brand, offering expert styling advice, and enlightening them about our features and benefits that set us apart from the rest.
• Managing inbound customer calls/queries via Air Caller
• Fulfilling Click and Collect orders within the business timeframes
• Assisting our customers, no matter what their reason for coming to the store. Providing a cohesive brand experience and level of service that is second to none. 
• Reviewing, driving and being accountable as a team to smash sales and KPI targets.

Merchandising & Inventory

• Assisting in the rollout of Visual Merchandising store or bed changeovers
• Ensuring that all system procedures communicated are being followed to ensure 100% accuracy with inventory
• Ensure the store floor is refilled and visually representable each day while meeting VM standards.
• Ensuring our brand standards for VM, beds, cleanliness, signage, displays etc are to always brand standards.

Communication

• Ensuring all Store Communication via Slack or other brand channels including, brand information & updates as well as policy or process updates are being followed
• Working to support Customer Service on customer facing issues and resolve in store where possible
• Ensuring all our operational daily tasks are completed as instructed by your manager for the day
• Ensuring any key store information or notes are shared with your wider team.

Skills & Attributes required for this role:

• Previous retail experience is a must (at least 1 year), with a strong background in smashing sales targets
• Genuine passion for top notch customer service, helping people end to end with a natural ability to develop long-lasting customer relationships
• Creatively minded, with the ability to support people making the right product and styling decisions to ensure they have the sweetest nights sleep
• Excellent verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated flexible and positive attitude, able to work independently, and 
• Self-starter with the capability and confidence to make the right decisions 
• You are positive, self-motivated and a team player, you love to see everyone succeed, and have fun in the process
