About the role
This position is a permanent full-time role in the Major Projects Division team, based from the Moruya Depot, with a need to work at various locations throughout the Shire. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, controlling and monitoring construction and maintenance activities in civil works, bridges and marina structures, achieving a safe and well organised project.
The starting salary for this position is $3,041.54 per fortnight plus 12% superannuation.

About you
This is an exciting position for someone looking to take the next step in their construction career You will be able to put your relevant trade qualification to good use in this role. The ideal candidate will have proven related ability to monitor projects in a construction and maintenance setting. You will also have established technical field skills, along with an ability to effectively supervise and mentor work teams and contractors to achieve the desired outcome. Your application will also demonstrate the following:
- Significant demonstrated relevant experience in the expected work environment.
- Well-rounded understanding and experience in plant capabilities and outputs used in construction and maintenance activities.
- Willingness and ability to successfully undertake physical labouring tasks associated with Council's maintenance and construction activities.
- Developed oral and written communication skills along with developed literacy,
numeracy, and computer skills.
- Ability and willingness to safely undertake work at heights and over/in water.
