What's the role?
As a Senior Solution Designer, you'll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge solutions across online and staff-facing channels, helping us become Australia's No. 1 bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop solution designs and interface contracts aligned with domain and project architecture.
  • Deliver customer servicing and originations technology across multiple platforms and brands.
  • Provide expert technical and domain guidance across development, support, testing, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
  • Work with tools such as Swagger/Open API, Tomcat, IDEA, Eclipse, Postman, SonarQube, and Splunk.
  • Apply strong understanding of API & REST principles in an Agile development environment.

What do I need?

  • Proven experience in mid-to-senior level IT roles, with a strong background in systems development, support and maintenance.
  • Deep knowledge of solution architecture, system design and contemporary IT practices.
  • Ability to quickly grasp the functions and capabilities of emerging technologies.
  • Solid understanding of financial services environments, including relevant applications and products.
  • Hands-on experience in systems integration and working within Agile development environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting and consultative skills.

  • Proficiency in API and REST API principles, with practical experience using tools such as:

  • Swagger/Open API

  • Tomcat
  • IDEA / Eclipse
  • Postman
  • SonarQube

  • Splunk

  • Effective supplier relationship management and stakeholder collaboration skills.
