Logistics & Customer Service Officer

Are you someone who enjoys being hands-on, staying organised, and making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes? The Northern Land Council (NLC) is looking for a committed and energetic Logistics and Customer Service Officer to join our Regional Development team and play a vital role in delivering services to our constituents across the region.

About the Role

This is a varied and people-focused role where no two days are the same. You'll support the delivery of community meetings, consultations, and other events by coordinating logistics, ensuring venues are prepared and well-equipped, managing transport for constituents, and keeping everything running like clockwork. You'll also oversee and support Logistics and Customer Service Assistants where needed and help ensure all assets—vehicles, trailers, equipment—are well-maintained and fit for use.

What you will Bring

You're someone who thrives in practical, people-oriented roles. You'll bring strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once. Experience in logistics, customer service, or event support is a plus, and a commitment to respectful engagement with Aboriginal people will be ideal for the role.

In addition to this, you will have: -

• Minimum of one (1) year experience working in a similar role with demonstrated exposure to working in remote locations and challenging environment
• Experience in the provision of on the job coaching / training in a workplace
• A current NT C Class driver's licence. Experience in driving 4WD vehicles is an added advantage
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate

• A base salary of $66,333 per annum plus 14.5% superannuation and salary sacrificing up to $15,900 + meal entertainment and holiday accommodation benefits up to $2,650 per year.
• Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
  • District allowance of up to $4,797 per annum for individuals with dependents and $2,630 without dependents.
  • 5 weeks annual leave, leaving loading, 18 days personal leave;
  • Paid Christmas close down;
  • Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $2,961
