About this role
These roles involve
- Greet patients upon arrival at the clinic or by telephone, manage patient appointment bookings, and provide follow-up phone calls as required.
- Collect patient information and liaise with dental suppliers, pathology, general practitioners, radiology and other health professionals and support services.
- Assist with copying, filing and maintaining documents and dental health records.
Dental Receptionists need to have excellent communication and customer service skills, both in person, in writing and over the phone. Time management skills are also crucial for Dental Receptionists as they need to understand dental procedures and their duration when scheduling patient appointments.
To be successful in this position, you will need to have,
- Previous experiences in Dental Reception duties (a huge bonus)
- Great attitude toward teamwork
- An ability to learn quickly and be self-motivated
- Genuine care and empathy for others
- Great communication skills
- Be well-presented, punctual,reliable, and professional
- Superior organisational skills & attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and ability to multitask with time efficiency
- First aid certificate (is a bonus but not an absolute requirement)
- Customer service experience
- Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis, and up to date with all childhood vaccinations, including tetanus & Whooping cough.
- Have the integrity to want to help others TEAMWORK
- Ongoing training will be provided, and an opportunity to progress into a higher position.
