About the role

Permanent opportunity to function as a member of the team in the provision of sterilisation services under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Assist in the provision of nursing and midwifery team support and for delegated actions in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Decision Making Framework.
  • Function in accordance with legislation when undertaking activities as delegated to provide an environment and care that is safe and relevant for individuals and groups.
  • Contribute to the effective coordination of sterilisation services for the CSSD in the provision of safe quality care.
  • Assist in identifying risks and opportunities for improvement and change to promote safe work activities, report workplace incidents, and participate in collaborative review of systems and processes.
