We're seeking compassionate and proactive Female Disability Support Workers to join our team in Ringwood, supporting a female client diagnosed with Chronic Schizophrenia to live safely and independently in her own home.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life by promoting mental health, independence, wellbeing, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred in-home support and companionship
  • Support mental health stability and emotional wellbeing
  • Assist with medication (prompting)
  • Meal preparation and light domestic tasks
  • Encourage engagement in daily routines and community participation

About You:

  • Empathetic, reliable, and passionate about supporting people with mental health needs
  • Experience in mental health or disability support is highly regarded
  • Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries
  • Hindi-speaking candidates are highly regarded (preferred but not essential)

  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (Current)
  • Working with Children Check (Current)
  • Australian Driver's License
  • Comprehensive Insurance on Vehicle
  • NDIS Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You
  • First Aid and CPR (Current)

Pay Rates

E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL)

SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax):

  • Base hourly rate: $35.15
  • Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $38.67
  • Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $39.37
  • Saturday: $49.21
  • Sunday: $63.27
  • Public holiday: $77.33
