About the role:

We currently have opportunities for experienced fuel drivers and those who are keen to gain experience in DG to join our operations team in Cairns. This role will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of bulk dangerous goods (bulk Petroleum) into retail/commercial and aviation sites. The role is an opportunity for professional drivers to join a performance driven team, delivering local and regional work on a full-time basis.

Success Profile:

  • MC license essential, previous on road experience operating an MC truck.
  • Dangerous Goods License essential
  • Safe Load Pass or willing to obtain
  • Provide a safe driving history record
  • Ability to operate in a professional and safe manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Driver to demonstrate strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety

Responsibilities:

  • Drivers are required to load, transport and unload bulk petroleum products throughout North Queensland to retail/commercial and aviation sites in a safe and professional manner
  • Driving multiple combination vehicles (Singles and B-doubles)
  • Operate in a professional and safe manner
  • Must follow company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes
