The Opportunity
We're seeking a
Senior Consultant
to join our collaborative and high-performing Data Intelligence team in Sydney. This is a role where your expertise in advanced data analytics and visualisation technology will shine, as you deliver tailored solutions and support forensic investigations that have meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Develop and refine analytical scripts in SQL and Python to address complex, real-world challenges.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to design bespoke data analytics solutions that drive results.
- Work with data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity through validation and transformation.
- Create innovative scripts using API integrations with cutting-edge tools like Relativity.
- Contribute to a culture of excellence by reviewing and refining code, sharing knowledge, and mentoring others.
- Present your work in clear, engaging ways that resonate with clients and colleagues alike.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including lawyers and other specialists, to deliver holistic solutions.
- Take ownership of your workload, meet key performance indicators, and grow your expertise in a supportive environment.
What We're Looking For
We value diverse perspectives and experiences. To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
- 3+ years of experience in quantitative development or data analytics.
- A strong academic background in fields such as Computer Science, Actuarial Studies, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, with a passion for solving complex problems through data.
- A meticulous approach to ensuring accuracy and quality in your work.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver on multiple tasks.
- Outstanding communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships and positively influence clients and colleagues.
- A collaborative mindset, with a genuine desire to contribute to a supportive and inclusive team culture.
