InvoCare is a funeral industry leader that operate over 300 funeral locations, 17 cemeteries and 29 crematoria, throughout Australia, New Zealand and Singapore and we are growing.  As we plan for the next phase of transformation and growth, now is an exciting time to join the InvoCare team.

As a Funerals Director Assistant, you will engage in an integral role supporting our funeral services. This role will offer you new life skills, personal growth and development, the opportunity to earn qualifications and progress your career in a personally rewarding industry.

About You:

  • Strong customer service ethos and commitment to service delivery
  • Professional attitude with an empathetic and compassionate approach towards people
  • Be at ease working with grieving families and the deceased
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication and high attention to detail
  • Able to work full time hours Monday to Friday, including rotating roster to cover evenings and weekends if required (great opportunity to earn additional income)
  • Salary is $30.77 per hour plus super, plus quarterly and annual incentive scheme. Allowances apply for standby roster and aftercare transfer activity 
  • Possess a full unrestricted driver's license and access to your own vehicle (to get to our Fyshwick Operations Centre)
  • Next induction and formal training is 12th January 2026.
