GMF provide a range of services across WA, specialising in commercial developments, civil construction, government infrastructure works, subdivisions, underground services, and residential developments, GMF are a family owned and operated business with over 50 years' industry experience.

Our focus is to provide our clients with a quality product with delivery of projects on time, safely and within budget.

GMF is seeking a Project Engineer To provide engineering support to the Project Manager / Supervisor and to ensure that the construction programme is carried out within budget and time constraints and in accordance with contract requirements and quality assurance guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Update and issue programmes.
  • Monitor on a daily / weekly basis and advise Project Manager of any variances to budget.
  • Co-ordinate suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure that they perform in accordance with the construction programme.
  • Administer project Q/A plan to ensure that procedures are controlled and issued to the relevant personnel.
  • Maintain controlled document registers for drawings and other important documents.
  • Ensuring all activities undertaken by employees and subcontractors are carried out in accordance with company.
  • Implement nominated testing programmes for project and ensure ITP's, NCR's are completed.
  • Assist in hazard analysis.
  • Carry out regular audit of subcontractors ensuring all activities.

  • Maintain professional communication with the client and other representatives as nominated by the Project Manager.

Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification - Civil / Construction Engineering.
  • Intermediate / advanced software skills.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Between 2-5 years postgraduate experience.
  • familiar with quality assurance procedures and audit process.
  • Valid Drivers License.
