Community Support Worker

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Community Support Worker to join our dedicated team. In this rewarding role, you will deliver person-centred care and support to individuals in their homes and within the community — helping them maintain independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance including showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Assist with meal preparation, light domestic duties, and grocery shopping
  • Support clients with medication prompts and wellbeing checks
  • Accompany clients to appointments and community outings
  • Offer companionship, emotional support, and encouragement in daily activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation and shift notes

About You

  • Genuine passion for supporting others and promoting independence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet individual client needs

Requirements

  • Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Current Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (if applicable)
  • COVID-19 and flu vaccinations (as per current guidelines)
