About the Role
Primo Foods are currently seeking experienced hygiene operatives to join our business on a full-time basis in Wacol, Brisbane. We are looking for people to join our team in an entry level hygiene operative position with career progression available for the right candidates.
As a hygiene operator you will be responsible for ensuring that the standards of hygiene and cleanliness are achieved daily before production start-up, whilst ensuring safe work practices are adhered to when using industrial cleaning equipment.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Cleaning of factory floors, walls, work surfaces and production line equipment to set SOPs.
- Ensuring the correct cleaning chemicals are used for the cleaning task as per the SOPs.
- To work in a manner that promotes safe working practices for yourself and your colleagues.
- Ensure that all PPE is worn and used at all times and all defects are reported to the Hygiene Supervisors.
About you:
- Available to work Monday to Friday night shift 10pm to 6am
- Experience within manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred
- Be able to work with raw meat, specifically Pork products
- Good attention to detail
- Flexible, motivated and keen to learn
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Australian work rights required for this position
- Intermediate level English proficiency required for following SOPs and safety instructions
