The Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate litigator with 1 - 3 years PAE to join our general insurance team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will enjoy working across a diverse range of legally challenging and factually complex matters in the Government sector (with the opportunity for exposure to similar private sector claims if desired), including:

• Public Liability
• Personal Injury

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and a current New South Wales practising certificate
• Minimum 1 years' post admission experience in general insurance matters
• Confidence to deal directly with clients
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with experts in multiple fields
• High degree of initiative, dedication and organisation ability with a strong client and commercial focus
• Ability to manage a busy workload and work to tight deadlines
• A commercial approach and ability to articulate and negotiate effectively; and
• A strong, plain language communication style.
