CETEC is seeking a passionate Water Quality Consultant with hands-on experience in water quality sampling, reporting, and project delivery to join our Brisbane team.

This is a career-defining opportunity to work on Australia's most prestigious built environment and water quality projects—while deepening your expertise in Indoor Environmental Quality, microbiology, hazardous materials, and technical risk management.

Your responsibilities:

  • Fieldwork & Sampling:
    Conduct water quality investigations, environmental sampling, and site assessments.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    Prepare technical reports, interpret data, and support senior consultants in delivering client-ready analysis.
  • Project Delivery:
    Assist in the execution of environmental consulting projects across the built environment.
  • Client Collaboration:
    Engage with clients and stakeholders on-site
  • Skill Development:
    Receive training in water, occupational hygiene, environmental health, and sustainability ratings.

You will be someone who has:

  • Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Science, Environmental Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Engineering
  • 1+ years' experience in water quality sampling, laboratory water analysis and/or report writing.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Valid Australian driver's licence
  • Based in Brisbane or willing to relocate
  • Memberships with AIOH, EHA, or AIHS will be highly regarded.
