Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role located in Cairns, QLD, for a Payroll Bookkeeper. The Payroll Bookkeeper will handle payroll processing, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Key responsibilities include Rostering, managing journal entries, reconciling financial statements, and utilizing accounting software to maintain records and manage data related to payroll and bookkeeping functions.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Bookkeeping, Journal Entries, and Financial Statements
  • Experience with Accounting Software and Finance-related practices
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in an on-site setting
  • Previous experience in payroll processing is advantageous
  • Formal training or certification in accounting or finance is a plus
