About the Role

The Project Lead plays a key role in the implementation of a strategic plan and program of work called Faithful Futures.  The role works collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders throughout Victoria and Tasmania to develop plans, implement goals and realize the program outcomes. The key focus areas being more effective co-ordination of local ministry, respect for country, intercultural leadership, intergenerational communities and new churches. The Project Lead supervises a Project Officer position and works closely with Uniting Church Committees and operations teams to enable agreed implementation goals. As a leader and change agent, the role promotes and communications broadly and ensures resource support for the Faithful Futures Steering Committee and relevant project groups.

This is a full-time position, based in the Melbourne CBD.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

•    Tertiary qualifications in change management, the arts, and/or business administration.

•    At least 6 years' experience in a similar role

•    Excellent interpersonal and people management skills

•    Knowledge of the Uniting Church or other Christian tradition would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will:

•    Have a Working with Children Check

•    Have the right to work in Australia full-time

•    Undergo a National Police Check before commencement
