We are Kaizer Community, and we specialise in Youth Work across the South East QLD region and are now looking to recruit for the Logan Village, Logan Reserve, Flagstone and Yarrabilba areas.

What does the day in the life of a Youth Worker look like?

Care and support children and young people in out of home careEncourage life skills through activities – Cooking, sports, art etc.Complete general household tasks – The goal is to provide a 'Homely' space for young peopleGrocery shoppingCar transport from A to B Dealing with and managing challenging behaviorsReporting and Administrative responsibilities

What you'll need?

Capacity to commute to relevant areasHold a minimum Cert IV in Youth Work or related areas or is working towards completing this.Current Paid Blue Card (Working with Children)A current Opens Driver's LicenseFirst Aid and CPR Certificate or willing to complete this
