About the role
JV Crash Automotive Group is seeking an experienced WHS Manager to join our team. This full-time position will be responsible for coordinating and implementing work health and safety policies and procedures and ensuring safety compliance to so that we can continue to provide for the wellbeing of our valued employees.
The JV Crash Automotive Group comprises 6 sites trading as JV Crash Repairs Wingfield, JV Crash Repairs Regency, Regal Crash Repairs, Lockleys & Findon Crash Repairs, M E Dale Crash Repairs and MEC Crash Repairs.
We have approximately 130 employees, of which work in workshop-based roles.
We are a dynamic workplace up to date technology and very experienced trades.
We have an exception track record with safety and pride ourselves on our desire to ensure that everyone that comes to work goes home from work safely.
The WHS Manager will work across all 6 sites.
The role will be based at JV Crash Regency. A work vehicle will be provided for use during the day if travel is required between sites.
We re seeking a can-do hands-on person who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and work with industry associations and our external advisors to get the job done.

What you'll be doing
- Developing, implementing and monitoring WHS policies, procedures and systems to promote a safe working environment
- Conducting safety audits, inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards
- Ensure workplace complies with safety standards and legislation
- Providing WHS training and education to employees to improve safety awareness, compliance and toolbox meetings
- Investigating and reporting on workplace incidents and near-misses to recommend corrective actions
- Maintaining comprehensive WHS records and preparing reports for management
- Liaising with regulatory authorities and industry bodies to ensure the organisation meets all WHS legislative requirements
What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an WHS coordination or management role, ideally within the motor body industry.
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant WHS legislation, regulations and codes of practice and where to access and utilise safety resources.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement
