Based in Adelaide, this role works closely with operational and support teams to drive compliance, foster continuous improvement and strengthen a culture of safety across metropolitan and regional sites.The Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) delivers essential services to over 5,000 government sites across 48 agencies in South Australia.

The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability to lead a team and manage diverse stakeholder relationships across complex operational environments.BenefitsSalary: $160k - $190k TFR (inclusive of 12% super) + Tool of Trade vehicle.Flexible working arrangements across dual offices and site locations.A dynamic, supportive, and inclusive team culture where you can make a difference.Access to a variety of health and wellbeing initiatives, including discounted health insurance and our employee assistance program.VenPerks: amazing discounts at over 450 retailers across Australia, including Woolworths, Coles, Booking.com, and Expedia.About The RoleLead SHEQ strategy and ensure compliance with WHS legislation, standards, and codes of practice.Provide expert guidance and training to site teams and subcontractors.Conduct audits, lead ICAM investigations, and deliver actionable insights to improve safety outcomes.Champion a safe working culture through active engagement and education.Collaborate with Ventia's HIMS team on injury management and return-to-work processes.Analyse safety data to identify trends and recommend improvements.Maintain strong relationships across the AGFMA contract and Ventia's SHEQ network.About YouTertiary qualifications in WHS/SHEQ.ICAM accreditation.Lead Auditor qualification.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.Strong understanding of WHS legislation and certified management systems.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to travel intrastate and interstate as required.About VentiaVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
