The Opportunity:

As part of our growth, we are seeking a Civil Designerto join theEngineering team.

The Civil Designer will be reporting to the Civil Design Team lead and assisting with design and drafting across a range of civil, structural, and waste facility design projects. Design and drafting will include earthworks, road alignments, pavement drainage, roadwork ancillaries, waste cell development, waste capping systems, evaporation ponds and overall civil site infrastructure. You will transform engineering ideas from concept plans to high quality detailed design documents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Application of AutoCAD and Civil 3D to prepare draft, concept or detailed 3D and 2D designs and drawings in line with industry standards
  • Collaborating with Team lead and engineers for efficient and accurate design outcomes.
  • Ensure design and drawing compliance with relevant standards, legislation and company procedures.
  • Quantities, calculations, and cost estimates.

The position is full time.

About you:

  • Minimum of 3 years design and documentation experience in the civil engineering discipline;
  • Proficiency in the application of AutoCAD and Civil 3D;
  • Demonstrated design experience on earthworks, roads, storm water and infrastructure projects;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Ability to operate independently and as part of a team;
  • Good verbal, oral and written skills; and
  • Full Australian working rights.
