We're now looking for a Project Engineer – Integration & Test to join our Simulation & Training Solutions team and play a key role in the development of next-generation land-based simulation training systems.
Based at our Sydney Olympic Park site, this role will see you leading integration and testing activities that ensure mission-critical defense solutions perform at the highest level.

Thomas Global Systems is a leader in the design, manufacture and support of high-integrity aviation and defense electronics, operating out of locations in Sydney, Australia and Irvine, California.

Location: On-site, Sydney Olympic Park, New South Wales.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead integration and testing across the design lifecycle, ensuring systems meet rigorous standards and customer requirements.
  • Own the development of software integration rigs and prototype systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver seamless system integration.
  • Drive the creation of test procedures, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Support sustainment teams with advanced diagnostics and testing.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in integration & test engineering in a regulated industry (defense, aerospace, rail, construction or oil & gas).
  • A degree in Electrical, Electronics, Systems or Software Engineering.
  • Strong systems engineering knowledge and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Australian Citizenship and eligibility for NV1 security clearance.
  • Ability to travel domestically on occasion.

Base salary range of
$125k to $135k per annum
. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, including but not limited to location, skill set; relevant experience; internal equity; and other business and organizational needs.
