The RoleOne of Australia's leading Commercial teams is seeking an enthusiastic Legal Assistant to join their tight-knit practice. Supporting a friendly Partner and their team of Lawyers, you will gain hands-on experience on matters including mergers and acquisitions, financial services, intellectual property and governance with Australian and international clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft legal documents and other formal correspondence
- Manage diaries, including organising CPD seminars, firm functions, travel and accommodation
- Complete billing and cost disclosures
- Liaise with clients to resolve queries and take preliminary instructions
About you
- At least 12 months experience as a Legal Assistant/Secretary
- Demonstrated ability to handle matters autonomously
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic practice
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
