The Opportunity

This role will see your working across various industry sectors such as property, construction, infrastructure, defence, education, IT, social housing, transport, aged care. A flavour of the work will include:

  • major contracts
  • housing, infrastructure, transport projects
  • ITC roll-outs
  • drafting tender and associated tender documents
  • drafting funding documents
  • advising on probity and procurement projects
  • advising on corporate governance
  • drafting policy documents
  • advising on privacy, data protection and FOI

The Firm

My client is one of Australia's leading commercial law firms ad they have a successful and growing Government team that acts for government clients (both Federal and State) as well as some clients in the private sector.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years pae in the area of contracts or commercial law, gained from private practice, in-house or government
  • Strong drafting and negotiations skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to juggle competing deadlines
  • Be a team player but also be able to work autonomously
  • Commitment, enthusiasm and pro-active approach to your work
