Event Operations Coordinator – United Cup Sydney
to join our
Operations team
. This is a
full-time fixed-term contract from October 2025 to February 2026.
As this is a seasonal role,
we require full availability and flexibility across the summer months, November – February. If you're ready to help us serve up real impact, we'd love to hear from you.

About The Role
In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Event Operations Lead and Operations team across all operational requirements
  • Coordinating temporary infrastructure and site overlay
  • Assisting with major event services, safety, risk management, and emergency services
  • Supporting tournament operations and player requirements
  • Enhancing player and patron experience
  • Liaising with suppliers, contractors, government and transport authorities, and emergency services to deliver operational excellence

About You
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Demonstrated experience in event operations and delivery within large-scale sporting or entertainment events
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with government agencies, contractors, and suppliers
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to event delivery at Tennis Australia
