Job description:

We have a new opportunity for a 
Commercial Director
who will report to the Regional Commercial Manager and Project Director with responsibilities for the efficient commercial governance and performance of our projects, ensuring on time delivery with maximum commercial value.

Your experience will have you lead the strategy across procurement, contract management, risk mitigation and financial modelling ensuring project/business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end commercial strategy.
• Oversee contract development, negotiation, and execution with EPC, OEM, and key supply chain partners.
• Establish and maintain robust commercial governance, risk management, and reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with technical, legal, finance, and project delivery teams to ensure aligned project execution.
• Manage commercial performance, cost forecasting, and project financials.
• Engage with executive leadership, and external stakeholders to communicate project progress and commercial outcomes.
• Identify commercial opportunities, efficiencies, and innovations to support project viability and growth.

Profile description:

• Degree Qualified with 7-10 years' experience.
• Proven experience as a Commercial Director or senior commercial leader within major infrastructure or energy projects (renewables experience highly regarded).
• Strong background in contract strategy, complex negotiations, and commercial risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and influence at an executive level.
• Exceptional analytical, financial, and decision-making capabilities.
• A forward‑thinking mindset with a passion for driving the clean energy transition.
