
External Sales Representative – Aftermarket

Location: O'Connor, WA (field-based with site travel)
About the RoleWe are seeking a driven and technically skilled External Sales Representative to grow aftermarket and brownfield project sales across WA. You'll focus on spare parts, service contracts, retrofits, and upgrades while building strong relationships with mine operators, contractors, and EPC/EPCM firms.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of spare parts, seal kits, and service contracts to minimise downtime.
- Identify and secure brownfield opportunities (retrofits, upgrades, revamps).
- Conduct site visits, assess equipment performance, and create demand for spares.
- Prepare accurate aftermarket quotations (RMT, VCA, Warman).
- Lead site service activities including shutdown support and installations.
- Develop service agreements and achieve aftermarket revenue targets.
- Build and execute sales strategies for short- and long-term growth.
- Strengthen relationships with site engineers, procurement teams, and contractors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions and secure orders.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities into capital equipment sales.
Skills & Experience
- Proven success in aftermarket or technical sales within mining, mineral processing, or heavy industry.
- Knowledge of agitators, seals, impellers, and spare parts logistics.
- Hands-on site experience in shutdowns, installations, or mechanical repairs.
- Ability to develop retrofit solutions that enhance process efficiency.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and commercial acumen.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
