About the role:

The Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Unit (NMWU) at Western Health is seeking a highly motivated Supplementary Workforce Manager (Registered Nurse or Midwife), for a permanent part time position (0.9FTE), to join the Nursing and Midwifery Workforce team based at the Williamstown Hospital.

The Supplementary Workforce Manager leads and manages Western Health's Supplementary Workforce to ensure timely, safe and efficient deployment of staff across the organisation. The portfolio includes Grade 2 Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives, Enrolled Nurses, Registered Undergraduate Students of Nursing/Midwifery and Health Care Workers.

As a key member of the NMWU leadership team, the role drives the development, implementation and evaluation of workforce initiatives and strategies, ensuring streamlined facilitation of supplementary staff and supporting sustainable workforce growth and recruitment to meet organisational needs.
