Synergie is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Assistant for a well-established landscaping and grounds maintenance provider located in Rockhampton.


The important parts
  • Permanent Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm (40 hours per week)
  • Salary: $55,130.40 per year + super
  • Start: ASAP – secure and stable long-term role

What you will be required to do

Supporting the Crew Leader, you will assist with landscape maintenance and garden care, ensuring a high-quality finish across client sites:

  • Mowing, edging, brush-cutting and hedge trimming
  • Planting, weeding and general garden upkeep
  • Spraying weeds and treating pests and diseases
  • Using handheld and ride-on equipment and tools
  • Maintaining safe work practices and following WHS guidelines

To be successful in the role you will
  • Hold a manual C-Class Driver Licence
  • Hold a White Card
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Blue Card
  • Be able to pass a National Criminal History Check
  • Be a Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
  • Live in the Rockhampton area
  • Have full working rights in Australia
  • Have access to reliable transport
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Preferred but not essential:

Cert II Horticulture, AC/DC, Chainsaw & First Aid accreditation
