Regarded as one of Australia's premier wine producers, Mitolo Wines is based in the picturesque region of McLaren Vale, a short 40minute drive South from the Adelaide CBD.

McLaren Vale is home to our Cellar Door, supported by our highly regarded Little Wolf restaurant and Frankie Italo Dining and Event space. Housed in reused shipping containers linked by floor to ceiling glass, Mitolo's architecturally striking venue overlooks lush lawns, Turraparri Creek and endless vineyards.

Roles Available

We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate casual staff to showcase the Mitolo Wines brand and deliver exceptional customer service.

We are seeking experienced Front of House waiters and bar staff to work in South Australia's most authentic Italian food venues. Our food is authentically Italian, simple, fresh, and vibrant. Our pasta and wood oven breads are baked daily, and our produce and proteins sourced locally. If you love food and wine, love working in a friendly team environment, are passionate about hospitality, then this is a role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Make each customer experience a positive one
  • Restaurant/ FOH staff would be expected to work closely with our kitchen team to understand in detail, the dishes and ingredients used in the food we serve
  • Undertake daily housekeeping duties to maintain the cellar door/ restaurant appearance.
  • Participate in ongoing training with Venue management or Winemaker as required.

There are several casual roles, working 2-3 shifts a week primarily over the weekend, across a 7-day roster, with the opportunity for more shifts as required for Saturday weddings and other events.

About you

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and with a team.
  • Previous hospitality, bar and food service experience is highly desired.
  • Must have permanent right to work in Australia or valid working visa
  • Fluent English required, additional languages advantageous

Preferred certifications:

  • Current RSA certificate
  • Food Safety Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
