Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting time to come onboard, with the organisation currently undergoing a significant uplift in its data capability. Reporting to the Manager of Data Engineering, this role will be central to building, optimising, and maintaining data pipelines that support critical business needs.

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing and delivering end-to-end pipelines in Databricks
  • Building and maintaining reliable, scalable data solutions
  • Leveraging Power BI for reporting, dashboards, and actionable insights
  • Using Terraform and CI/CD to automate and streamline infrastructure
  • Partnering with stakeholders to translate requirements into enterprise-ready solutions
  • Contributing to large-scale transformation projects across the organisation

What we're looking for:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Power BI
  • Proven expertise in data pipeline development and optimisation
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Practical skills with Terraform and CI/CD practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Background in delivering enterprise data solutions in complex environments
  • Microsoft Fabric experience is highly desirable.
