Downer has been awarded the Property and Asset Services (PAS) contract to deliver base and estate services across their two largest regions NSW/ACT and QLD. This is a significant milestone for our business and our enduring 80+ year relationship with the Australian Defence Force.
We're inviting applications to join our permanent workforce in Blamey Barracks as an Estate Appraisal & Asset Data Auditor. We're committed to building a workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and empowered to contribute.

What You'll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Conducting estate condition assessments and asset data verification audits at Defence sites. 
- Validating and maintaining asset information in Defence estate systems (e.g., GEMS, DEIS, WMS). 
- Engaging with internal teams, subcontractors, and Defence stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and compliance. 
- Preparing and submitting appraisal reports, supporting audits, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. 
- Promoting Downer's Zero Harm values and ensuring all activities comply with WHS and environmental legislation. 
 
What You'll Bring
- Certificate IV in Asset Management or equivalent (mandatory). 
- Demonstrated experience in asset auditing, condition assessment, and data analysis. 
- Diploma of Asset Management Planning, construction, engineering, or facilities management qualification (desirable). 
- Asbestos Awareness, White Card, and site access credentials (desirable). 
- Ability to obtain and retain Defence Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
