Freyssinet Australia is seeking a driven and technically capable
Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager
to join our Remedial Division, delivering complex and challenging remediation and façade upgrade projects across NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager or for a Senior Project Engineer looking to step up into a PM role.

As part of a specialist contractor within the global VINCI Group, you'll be involved in high-value projects across civil, structural, and remedial engineering — with strong pathways for career growth and development.

About the Role

In this role, you will manage the delivery of remedial projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. From façade upgrades to complex infrastructure restoration, you'll take responsibility for driving outcomes that meet client expectations while working within budget and timeframes.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead project planning, delivery, and close-out.
  • Manage and mentor site teams and subcontractors.
  • Provide hands-on technical input and problem-solving.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee project reporting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Drive a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience

  • Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline).
  • For PM applicants
    : Proven track record in delivering remedial, façade, or infrastructure upgrade projects.
  • For SPE applicants
    : 5+ years' site/project engineering experience with the ambition and capability to step into a PM role.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodology and safety standards.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Commercially astute, with experience in cost tracking and contracts administration.
