Abrolhos Octopus is a large scale and fully licensed octopus fishing company with our own vessels , giving us a fishing range from shallow coastal areas to 80kms offshore around the Abrolhos Islands. We are currently looking for a successful candidate to join our ever expanding team.

Qualifications & experience

  • 2 years relevant fishing experience required plus fishing license.
  • Police clearance certificate required.
  • Adhering to the workplace culture ; No influence of drugs or alcohol in the workplace ( Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety responsibilities ) .
  • Working knowledge of ropes, splicing and using a longline fishing method as preferential.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Performing of manual tasks directed by Skipper.
