About the role
The Resident Wellbeing and Village Site Supervisor is responsible for the effective day-to-day operations of our beautiful and historic Rushall Park village based in North Fitzroy. This includes staff rostering and management, residents support, effective stakeholder communication, and maintaining high standards of service and compliance within budget. The role involves overseeing all aspects of village life to ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for residents. The role also has a specific focus on providing emotional and social support to our residents when they need it, and developing and delivering exciting and inclusive resident wellbeing programs as a part of our overall organisational focus on resident wellbeing.
This is an exciting and transformational opportunity for an experienced Village, Home Care or Aged Care Supervisor or Manager with a passion for supporting older Victorians holistically, or a social worker, pastoral or spiritual care coordinator or chaplain looking to expand their role into operations management in senior living.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the delivery of exciting, innovative and inclusive resident support programs and initiatives to our residents
- Mentor, develop, and inspire staff to achieve excellence
- Drive service quality, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Build strong, respectful relationships with residents, families, and key stakeholders
- Oversee rosters, workforce planning, and resource allocation to meet resident needs within operational budget
- Manage incidents and reporting processes in line with policy and legislative requirements
- Support resident transitions, and drive business development initiatives
- Lead and contribute to key projects that enhance the resident experience
What You'll Bring
- 3+ Years' experience with Aged Care or Retirement Living
- Experience and/or qualifications in one or more of resident welfare; social work; psychology; chaplaincy; or pastoral care is highly desirable
- Relevant industry qualifications
