The OpportunityKey Responsibilities
  • Guide and support the adherence to Melton City Council's Project Management Framework, ensuring continuous improvement in project governance.
  • Evaluate the prioritisation of initiatives and program and portfolio development.
  • Organise and facilitate various workshops, across Melton City Council including Post Implementation Reviews and Risk Workshops.
  • Coordinate PMO reporting and analysis, identifying common themes and opportunities for continuous improvements.
  • Lead and facilitate all PCGs including gathering all content, minutes and actions.
  • Conduct monthly Status Review Meetings with Project Managers to review scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, change management and dependencies, the freedom to act is governed by policies.
About youTo be successful in this role you will have the following:
  • Tertiary education with relevant degree with several years of subsequent relevant experience, alternatively lesser formal qualifications with extensive relevant experience in project management.
  • Extensive experience in project management including developing frameworks, understanding methodologies and good governance.
  • Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment and subtlety.
  • Exceptional analysis skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyse data.
