Mamta Group is home to a collection of fast-paced, all-Australian brands, including Runaway the Label, Seven Wonders and Vacanza Resort. We are looking for a dedicated Garment Technician to join our dynamic design and production team, contributing to the fit and quality of our garments. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to advance or grow their career in garment technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in interpreting designer specifications and measurements for accurate garment fits.
  • Ensure that garment fits meet the standard sizing across our brands.
  • Work closely with our factories in China on fit adjustments, quality control, and finishes.
  • Support the design team to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained.
  • Develop relationships with suppliers and assist with communication around garment production.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Must have full working rights within Australia
  • Strong attention to detail with an organized approach.
  • Time management skills to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team.
  • Knowledge or experience in garment construction is highly valued.
  • A passion for fashion and garment technology.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently.
