Calamvale Special School is seeking a passionate, student-focused educational leader to join our leadership team as Head of Department (Curriculum). In this role, you will lead initiatives that improve educational outcomes for students, enhance the quality of teaching and learning, and foster positive relationships
among all members of the school community.

About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Educational Leadership: Lead curriculum areas or whole-school programs to develop and implement a shared vision focused on delivering high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Equity and Inclusion: Embed socially just and inclusive practices throughout school programs and daily operations.
- Excellence and Professional Growth: Set and maintain high standards for student achievement and staff performance, fostering continuous learning and professional development.
- Collaboration and Community Engagement: Build and sustain effective partnerships with students, parents, staff, community organizations, and government agencies.
- Strategic and Responsible Management: Apply strategic thinking and a thorough understanding of legislation, policy, and resource management to achieve school and program goals.
