About The OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting 18 month contract opportunity for a Learning Practitioner to join our Maritime team based in Adelaide at our Osborne Naval Shipyard.

We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.

As the Learning Practitioner, you will be responsible for facilitating project-specific training, including inductions and compliance training, while managing the coordination and administration of training for employees and contractors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate project specific training including site inductions, ship onboarding induction and compliance training
  • Coordinate employee and contractors of the program including all related administration and record keeping
  • Liaise with training providers and stakeholders to arrange training and coordinate the booking process
  • Undertake all assigned training activities in accordance with the identified project directives and standards
  • Support the development of training related documentation in accordance with appropriate standards
  • Assist in development of project infrastructure, such as tools deployment, metrics collection and process development

About YOU
You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in the facilitation of training
  • Experience in coordination and administration activities
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • An ability to adapt to working in different environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills in order to interact with employees at all levels
  • High level of attention to detail especially in data management
  • Eligibility to hold a Baseline defence security clearance
