ECU is seeking a collaborative and strategic leader to join Access and Equity as Manager, Inclusive Excellence.
This position plays a pivotal role in the development and implementation of innovative, evidence-based initiatives that enhance inclusive practice across the university, helping to ensure that ECU's commitment to access and success extends meaningfully to all students and staff, and particularly for key equity groups.
The Role
In this role, you will lead and collaborate on cross-institutional efforts to weave equitable and inclusive practice in higher education throughout learning and work environments, building institutional capacity and managing high-impact programs and services. You will also collaborate to influence and support the strategic direction, management and integration of a broad range of equity, diversity and inclusion priorities. You will be actively involved in identifying and progressing initiatives informed by best practice, evidence, lived experience and legislative requirements related to equity, inclusion and safety, including but not limited to gender-based violence prevention and response, disability access and inclusion, LGBTIQA+ inclusion, and other areas of equity and inclusion within the university community.
This opportunity will see you providing leadership to Access and Inclusion, the student service for students with disability, health conditions or who are carers or who are neurodivergent, and Equity Projects, who lead university-wide inclusion initiatives for students and staff.
We are looking for a strategic and inclusive leader with a deep understanding of equity and inclusion. Your leadership will reflect ECU's values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage, and you will demonstrate these values in your approach to collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

This ongoing position attracts remuneration of $136,958 to $143,228 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
