Local Brisbane Driver – KDK Car Carriers

Are you an experienced driver with a strong work ethic and a passion for the transport industry? KDK Car Carriers is looking for a motivated, skilled Local Driver to join our team. If you have experience in car carrier operations or are eager to learn, we want to hear from you

Position: Local Driver

Location: Brisbane, QLD (with work around Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and occasional work further west)

Hours: Competitive hourly rate with significant overtime available (overtime paid at penalty rates)

About the Role:

As a Local Driver for KDK Car Carriers, you will play a key role in transporting vehicles primarily around Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with occasional trips further west. We offer flexibility, as you'll have the option to take the truck home at night or base it close to your location at one of our truck yards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a car carrier truck to transport vehicles across various locations, mainly within Brisbane, Gold Coast, and occasionally further west.
  • Ensure vehicles are securely loaded and unloaded in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain clear communication with dispatch regarding routes, delays, or any issues.
  • Take pride in your truck and maintain it to high standards.
  • Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience driving car carriers is preferred.
  • Strong local knowledge of Brisbane and the Gold Coast area.
  • Motivated and reliable with a strong focus on safety and delivering excellent service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
