We are currently seeking First Qualified Educators to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be directly responsible for supervising children, engaging with them in meaningful play and learning experiences, and helping create a safe, fun, and inclusive environment. You will support the planning and delivery of engaging programs, while also ensuring the wellbeing of every child in our care.

What is a First Qualified Educator?

A First Qualified Educator is recognised as holding both the study and experience required to provide leadership in an education and care service. To be eligible, you must have:

  • Completed at least 2 years of full time study.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in childcare or directly with children in an educational or care setting.

This role sits under the Children's Services Award 2010, and successful applicants will be employed as First Qualified Educators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and engage with children aged 5–12 in both structured and free play.
  • Assist in planning and delivering programs aligned with the My Time, Our Place framework.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.

Essential Requirements

  • 2 Years of fulltime study (in any field)
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with children.
  • Current WWVP (Working with Vulnerable People) registration (ACT).
