About Us:
Solmech is a leading name in large-scale solar farm construction across Australia and New Zealand. We're powering the renewable energy movement by building the infrastructure that matters and with projects scaling fast across multiple regions, our team is growing too.

We're now looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our high-performing HR & Mobilisation team. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, we're flexible for the right person who can bring energy, speed, and great instincts for people.

About the Role:
You'll work closely with our HR & Mobilisation Manager to source, screen, and coordinate new hires for our solar projects around Australia and New Zealand. You'll also support onboarding, inductions, and workforce planning in a fast-paced, down-to-earth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end recruitment for trade, site, and white-collar roles across multiple regions

  • Candidate screening, interviews, and shortlisting

  • Liaising with internal supervisors to understand hiring needs and project schedules

  • Coordination of onboarding, pre-employment checks, and mobilisations

  • Managing recruitment admin, tracking spreadsheets, and job ad placements

  • Assisting with apprenticeships and training pathways

  • Supporting international candidate recruitment and sponsorship processes

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous recruitment experience is a must

  • Strong coordination and admin skills

  • Previous experience in renewables is a bonus

  • Able to work at pace, stay organised, and manage competing priorities

  • Great communication skills, you're proactive and people-focused

  • Experience with workforce onboarding or mobilisations is ideal (but not essential)
