This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high-performing mining operation and play a key role in driving underground production and planning excellence.

I am seeking a Senior Underground Mining Engineer who thrives in a technically challenging environment and wants to grow within a well-established and expanding operation.

About the Role

Working on a 4 Weeks on / 4 Weeks off rotation with travel provided to any major capital city, this role offers the perfect blend of professional growth and lifestyle balance.

You'll be part of a collaborative technical team responsible for mine design, scheduling, and optimisation, ensuring safe and efficient production performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain mine designs, schedules, and production forecasts using Deswik
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
  • Work closely with geology, planning, and operations to deliver production targets
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across safety, productivity, and cost efficiency
  • Support long-term planning and project development as required

About You

  • Degree-qualified Mining Engineer
  • Proven experience in underground hard rock mining operations
  • Proficiency in Deswik is essential
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Motivated to take on increased responsibility and develop into a senior technical leadership role
