Location: Hedland Operations- Fortescue's Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.

Roster: 8 days / 6 off / 7 nights / 7 off – Residential in Port Hedland (relocation assistance offered)

Key Responsibilities

No two days are the same – you'll be tackling a mix of preventative and reactive maintenance across our fixed plant and ancillaries, with opportunities to broaden your skills and make a real impact.

Diagnose and repair faults on fixed plant equipmentPerform high voltage switching and statutory testingRespond to breakdowns and support shutdownsMaintain and calibrate instrumentation and belt weighersBackup parameters on ABB, Siemens & WEG drivesKeep accurate documentation, logbooks, and isolationsDrive improvements to boost safety and efficiency Qualifications and Experience

Your technical expertise is important, but so is your proactive mindset and safety-first approach. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems as part of a supportive team.

WA A-Grade Electrical Licence

HV switching ticket and practical experience

Strong fault-finding skills in continuous operations (iron ore experience highly regarded)

Knowledge of VSDs, PLCs, Profibus/Profinet/DeviceNet

Ability to read and apply electrical schematics, isolation, and permitting

Familiarity with SAP, Fiori, or other digital maintenance systems

A collaborative approach and leadership capability
