About us
Ventura Electrical is small, fast paced, efficient and tight knit team. We value respect and hard work. We are well established in Karratha and searching for a responsible and experienced electrician to help us expand into Port Hedland. The right candidate will be remunerated accordingly. This is not a FIFO position.
Qualifications & experience
- Electrical nominee is preferred
- Candidate will be required to self manage stock and tasks
- Strong fault finding and appliance testing abilities highly regarded
- Intimate knowledge of AS3000 and AS3017
- The successful candidate must be culturally tolerant as works often take place in a variety of culturally diverse environments
Tasks & responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be required to work autonomously
- Domestic and commercial maintenance and construction
- Tests and audits of government assets
- Occasional travel to remote communities
- Rotating on call roster
- Liaising with Horizon Power inspectorate regularly
